QNAP Support

I came across ownCloud today and see that you have planned support for QNAP and the Dreamplug. What is the time frame for QNAP support? and Dreamplug?

Not sure about this. Since there are 100s of different device types testing for each of them can be difficult. In this area we are relying heavily on community feedback on the plug and play devices.
Please do not PM me for support. Posting your questions to the forums helps everyone.

Just for the record: owncloud v4 working here on a QNAP TS119 PII. Amazingly good performance by the way, considered it is a NAS system!

Hi,

I have ownCloud installed on my Dreamplug running the as-provided Debian 6 system from newit.co.uk. Installing ownCloud is no different from any other Debian server, I suppose. And I think it is running just as good or bad as it would on any other hardware of similar performance. 512 mb memory has never been a problem, but the processor often runs 100% during syncronization and file upload.
