Howto share pictures using the gallery

Hello,

I am a little bit confused and could not figure out how the sharing of foto albums is ment to work.

In my photo collection I have a folder with images which I would like to share. When I press "Share", a dialog opens where I can check to share this gallery. When I repeat this step, I even get an URL for the shared gallery, but when I try to access this URL, I just get an empty page with the words "Shared Gallery" in the top left corner...

Is this a bug or a feature?

The issue linked above has now been closed (with the justification that the share link doesn't exist anymore).

So one can not share a gallery at the moment, because it just isn't implemented.

Anybody know if there is the plan to reintroduce it?

After all, it is still mentioned in the owncloud features list!

Either it should be removed there, or (preferrably) be reintroduced!

According to comments on the old bugtracker issue, it seems like there's currently no work on gallery sharing . As also suggested there, I have opened a new issue at github.

+1, this should be removed from the feature list immediately. Claiming it on the official features page misrepresents the capabilities of the software and does a great job of royally pissing off new users for setting false expectations and wasting their time.
