Version 4

First, I have to tell you, I really admire your work and I am very appreciative of the great product.

I think versioning is completely FUBARing sharing.

A user uploads a file into a shared folder and of the three users with whom the folder is shared, not one can see the file. As admin, I log into that first user's account and delete the file and upload it again. Now only one of the three users can see it.

All of these users have been deleted and recreated. All of the files and folders have been deleted and recreated prior to deleting and recreating the users. A blank slate, as it were, and these issues persist.

After disabling versioning and uploading the file again, it works. Coincidence? Maybe. Tell you next week. BTW, the file in question was a .CSV.

For the record, I am using PHP 5.3.2, on Ubuntu

Update: Ok, this does not appear related to versioning as I thought. It is still a problem. A user has just uploaded a file and no one in the group with whom the parent folder is shared can see the file. Is it just .CSV files? I will try and find out.

Not just CSV files. TXT too. This is very frustrating.

Update:

If a group is created and then a user creates a folder and shares it with said group, a group member added after the folder is created and shared cannot see the folder nor, obviously, access any files within it. To allow the new group user to have the same access as other group members, the user must remove the group share from the folder and put it back.

Update:

I have a folder shared with a group containing three users. Whenever I add a file to the folder as the folder creator, no one can see it. So, I delete all folder contents, remove the share, delete the folder. Re-create the folder, share it with the group. add one file. Of the three members of the group, one sees the contents of the folder as it should appear with one file. Two see the contents of the deleted folder and do not see the new file at all.
