Bynari Webdav collaborator

Although Bynari lists Owncloud as one of the webdav servers they are compatible with (http://www.bynari.net/bynari.php?page=plugins), they are not yet compatible with Owncloud becasue of sabredav 1.6.2 not handling long enough fieldnames for URLs (http://code.google.com/p/sabredav/). It should work with sabredav 1.6.3, though. Does anyone know how to update to sabredav 1.6.3?

OK, I figured out how to update the SabreDav. Just download SabreDav from their page (http://code.google.com/p/sabredav/), unzip it, and move all the files in the /lib folder into the 3rdparty folder of your owncloud install.

Unfortunately, this did not fix the Bynari issue.

Hi there,

I've had the same issue but managed to get it working properly by downloading the latest version of Bynari's WebDAV Collector.

Outlook 14.0.4760.1000 (32-Bit) (Office Professional Plus 2010)
OwnCloud (4.0.5)
SabreDAV (1.6.3)


My setup:

1. Create (multiple) calendar(s) by logging into  your owncloud instance and then go to "Calendar" -> "Calendars" -> "New calendars" define a "Name" and "CHANGE" the "CALDAV LINK" accordingly.

2. Open Outlook and create (multiple) calendar item(s) and name them as you did using owncloud.

3. Click on “WebDAV Collector” and “configure”  your/(each) calendar:

Folder display name: CALENDARNAME
Username: USERNAME
Password: PASSWORD
Server URL: http://ADDRESS/remote.php/caldav/calendars/USERNAME/CALENDARNAME/
