Calendar Invitiation

I'm trying to get the calendar invitations to work.
Does anyone know if the iMipHander plugin in the calendar app is working or if you have to activate it?

Sounds like an interesting feature, but I doubt it works at the moment. A dev once said that calendar sharing, etc is a milestone for version 5.
