Ubunu Sync of local directories won't work

Hi,

I have two directories specified in my ownCloud Sync client on Ubuntu to be synced:

1.) a local directory with my owncloud instance
2.) another local directory with another local directory (mounted from a NAS via SMB).

While the owncloud sync works fine, the sync of the two local directories just does nothing.

When I open the syncclient, it always states that it is "waiting to start the sync"....

any ideas?
