i m using the latest version of own cloud 6.0.2 on windows 8 server with php 32 bit as php 64 bit is yet experimental for windows...no matter how much i upload.folder size does not go beyond 2GB...i tried to fix it by using this following link

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=18676

but after applying changes listed in the link above,i tried to log in,it goes up to logon screen then after providing credentials says http 500 internal server error,i rechecked all changes but same result so link is not working for me

please let me know if there is any other work around for this issue....thanks

Even at rechecking you probably have missed something (or there is an error in the changes there) - because error 500 is in such a case most probably caused by php syntax errors.
Check your webserver/php error log for details on which line exactly the problem is.

thx for this. It worked like a charm!

this is my setup:
MyPHP Version I'm using is 5.3.26
owncloud-client 1.5.3-3 - linux
owncloud-server 6.02
It's running on an qnap x86 nas

the free staorage was displaying wrong. stands still on 2GB. in really it was 4gb. after applying you're changes I had only to close the client and start again. Storage usage is showing correct now. Also in my users web interface.

So great solution and worked fine for me!

why this fix still isn't implemented in official owncloud?

Maybe because nobody has reported it in the issue tracker? OC devs are not reading here.
Might be that parts or all of it are covered here already: https://github.com/owncloud/core/pull/5365 ... (as mentioned above) that looks like it should be merged soon.

The initial post is a great fix but the 2GB maximum is still shown by the Shared folder. Not a big deal, but does anyone know what line of code needs to be modified to fix this?

Huzzah! This fixed a few irritating things that were still in 6.0.4...

I applied your patches and a few of those listed here... https://github.com/owncloud/core/pull/5 ... 4b97103R46

(I did _not_ apply the *local.php or *largfilehelper* patches...)

... now folders show their correct size, and the desktop sync client on our Mac reads true, as well.

Thanks @ MiguelDominguez.

I'm awaiting the hinted-at full large file support in OC7.
(EDIT: after looking at the OC 7 Beta/ RC1, it seems that those changes in the above pull are included...)
