/dev/urandom not in allowed path(s) - but it is?

Postby Shimmergloom » Sat Oct 24, 2015 8:52 pm

Hey everybody!

Getting the "/dev/urandom/ not readable by PHP" error, despite my having it added to the open_basedir variable for the domain.

Log says:

Code: Select all

is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/dev/urandom/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/xyz.com/:/tmp/:/dev/urandom/)

(where xyz.com is the name of my domain - also you see, that /dev/urandom/ is in there)

So, uhm - can anyone give me some insight on what might be the cause? Much appreciated! :)

Hi,

open_basedir should be:

/var/www/vhosts/xyz.com/:/tmp/:/dev/urandom

instead of:

/var/www/vhosts/xyz.com/:/tmp/:/dev/urandom/
*gone*
