Fatal files_external

Postby joaobrn » Thu Apr 14, 2016 1:57 am

Greetings,

I am new to the forum and for some time I use the owncloud solution.

In this way I am making some changes in my business and I decided to start using the mapping through the smbclient folders.

settings:

version of ownCloud: ownCloud 8.1.3 (stable)
Operating System: Freebsd 10.3-RELEASE
Web Server: nginx
Database: mariadb101-server10.1.13 MariaDB-client10.1.13
Packages Installed: php56-extensions php56-mysql-php56 pdo_mysql php56-zlib php56-openssl-php56 bcmath php56-gmp php56-gd php56-curl php56-ldap php56-exif-php56 fileinfo php56-mbstring php56-gmp php56-bz2 php56- php56 zip-mcrypt pecl-APCu pecl-intl
Packages compiled by portsnap: samba smbclient

What happens is that the windows when I try to map my network drives on my NAS, is running smoothly through the CIFS protocol, already in owncloud when I try to map any network drive appears the error described below:

fatal file_external

Exception: { "Exception": "Icewind \\ SMB \\ \\ ConnectException Exception", "Message", "Unknown error", "Code": 0, "Trace": "# 0 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / 3rdparty \ / Icewind \ / smb \ / src \ /Share.php (345): Icewind \\ \\ SMB Connection-> read () \ n # 1 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / 3rdparty \ / Icewind \ / smb \ / src \ /Share.php (120): Icewind \\ \\ SMB Share-> execute ( 'allinfo \ "\" ') \ n # 2 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / lib \ /smb.php (102): Icewind \\ \\ SMB Share-> stat ( '\ /') \ n # 3 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / lib \ /smb.php (136): OC Files \\ \\ \\ SMB-Storage > GetFileInfo ( '') \ n # 4 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / lib \ / private \ / files \ / storage \ /common.php (408): OC \\ Files \\ Storage SMB-\\> stat ( '') \ n # 5 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / lib \ /config.php (499): OC \\ Files \\ Storage \\ Commonwealth> test (false) \ n # 6 \ / usr \ / local \ / www \ / owncloud \ / apps \ / files_external \ / controller \ /storagescontroller.php (132): OC_Mount_Config :: getBackendStatus ( ' \\\\ OC \\\\ \\\\ Stora Files ... Thinking it was a problem in the version of owncloud, I tried to use all the available versions that even found the last which is 9.0.1.

I wonder if anyone has gone through this problem knows solve.

I thank everyone's attention!

Hi,

try to install https://github.com/eduardok/libsmbclient-php which is recommended over the use of smbclient.
