I was trying to make an upgrade of my OC 8.02 installation and made a mistake. I used the 8.2 package instead of the 8.1
Code: Select all
echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:/ownCloud:/community:/8.2/Debian_8.0/ /' >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud.list
apt-get install owncloud
Then I ran the OC-updater and that didn't work (of course)
Next I tried to use the 8.1 package to update (the commands above, but with 8.1 package).
The odd thing is that it did try to install version 9.02 instead of 8.1 (see the attached screenshot).
Of course php occ upgrade gave me an error message saying that I can't skip major versions.
Now I'm not sure how I can upgrade my installation to 8.1.
Would you say it's still possible or is my OC installation now broken ?
If it's not broken, how can I upgrade to 8.1?
Do I have to remove the wrongly installed versions?
I have made a backup but it seems that the database backup is empty. It has only 54 bytes (I do not have much data in the DB though, only 2 users). That's why I would prefer to rescue the current OC installation, if possible.
Thanks for any hints.
