The issue in question is memcached*. Never had a this show up with 8.0 and 8.1 versions.. We're using PHP 5.6 and don't even have memcache installed, only memcached. The relevant config:

Code: Select all

'memcache.local' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\Memcached',
  'memcache.distributed' => '\\OC\\Memcache\\Memcached',
  'memcached_servers' =>
  array (
    0 =>
    array (
      0 => 'localhost',
      1 => 11211,
    ),
  ),

*So I just gave up on the warnings for internet connection. I've never had an install that doesn't show that even though accessing apps seems to work okay, ownCloud updates from the admin page have worked and I even get the tarball from wget on the command line. Perhaps it's cURL with NSS Amazon uses in their Linux distribution, whatever.

What OS are you using? I have CentOS7/httpd-2.4 and have not had luck getting Caching working. I am running the remi-release of php5.6. Memcache in ownCloud 8.x is ridiculous. I never had any issues in 7 and older.

When I install the php56-pecl-apcu module, my ownCloud cron jobs fail.

It's Amazon's Linux (I've never cared to look at what they base their distribution on). Uname: 4.1.7-15.23.amzn1.x86_64

PHP 5.6.13-1.118.amzn1.

@jdickert

Have you checked with an phpinfo if the correct module is actually loaded?

The no internet connection message itself is caused by the buggy NSS version noted in the other message.

@utahbmxer

Your issue seems to be totally unrelated and the correct setup incl. apcu for cron is described in the docs.

Yep. In fact I can't find an instance of the other one loaded.

Ok, that looks correct. Probably the best to report this directly to the developers like described here:
