Carddav 10.9 OS X Mavericks: Invalid method in request

Postby Texiwill » Tue Nov 19, 2013 8:40 pm

Hello,

OwnCloud 5.0.13
RHEL 6.4
Mac OS X Mavericks
Addressbook using carddav

1) When I create a carddav account, the initial time it connects to owncloud I get an error 1, it could not complete and no error_logs in the owncloud instance. Yet I am using the proper carddav link of http://x.y.w.z/owncloud/remote.php/card ... s/ACCOUNT/. I have looked at the Configuration.plist and all looks fine useSSL is set to false and the URL is fine.

2) Second time I receive CoreDAVHTTPStatusErrorDomain error 500 but no error_logs on the owncloud instance.

3) Anytime I go to edit the Contacts CARDDAV via internet settings I receive an 'Invalid method in request' on the owncloud server (virtual machine) as if it was attempting to authenticate via HTTPS which I am not currently using as this is a private instance of owncloud. Eventually I will put in certs, etc. but not to just get it to work.

Any ideas? I would very much like to get carddav working on mac OS X.

Best regards,
Edward

More on the issue... COnfiguration.plist looks like the following:

Code: Select all

<key>searchable</key>
        <false/>
        <key>serverName</key>
        <string>W.X.Y.Z</string>
        <key>serverPort</key>
        <integer>80</integer>
        <key>serverRootPath</key>
        <string>/owncloud/remote.php/carddav/principals/USERNAME/</string>
        <key>servername</key>
        <string>http://W.X.Y.Z:80/owncloud/remote.php/carddav/principals/USERNAME/</string>
        <key>useSSL</key>
        <false/>
        <key>useKerberos</key>
        <false/>
        <key>userName</key>
        <string>USERNAME</string>
        <key>username</key>
        <string>USERNAME</string>

Anything else required? BTW, if I look at the access_log on the owncloud instance I see it doing what looks to be the proper thing finding all the address books, but no addresses...

Thoughts?
Edward
